What We Do

Mode of delivery
The belief in working with the disadvantaged communities has taken KZF to two of the poorest and remotest provinces of Zambia namely: Western and North Western Provinces.

During the past twelve years, more than 140,000 families or 846,000 people (representing nearly 8% of Zambia’s population) have been reached through more than 20 projects initiated and implemented by KZF.

KZF works directly with the grassroots of disadvantaged households and communities and focuses on poverty reduction strategies that embrace sustainability as a key concept in the project cycle. The mode of delivery is through environmental, social and economic sustainability of livelihood systems derived from KZF’s thematic areas.

Key Thematic Areas:

• Agriculture and Food Security
• Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene
• Rural Enterprise and Private Sector Development
• Environment and Natural Resource Management
• Social Protection
